Video quality is poor

Last Updated: February 9, 2015

Poor video quality is normally due to a problem with the file or a bad encode. Follow these steps to improve the quality of video.

  1. View the Optimizing Video Quality page. This document provides guidelines for getting the best video quality on your BrightSign player.
  2. Try re-encoding the video or using a different application to encode the video.
  3. Download sample video content from our website to determine whether the problem is only with your content.

If you are still experiencing problems with video quality after taking these steps, contact BrightSign support for more assistance.
