Yes, any model with a USB port supports USB touchscreens. The XT1143, 4K1042, 4K1142, XD1033, XD1032, XD1132, XD1030, XD1230, HD1023, HD1022, and LS423 support multi-touch and gesture technologies (via HTML 5 content). All other models support single-touch only.
BrightSign players support USB touch screens that use standard HID drivers. This includes models from 3M, NEC, Samsung, and other brands with HID support. Standard HID drivers ensure that the touch screen will work with any operating system that has HID drivers installed--No additional drivers from the manufacturer are required.
Note that some manufacturers claim support for HID while actually using custom drivers.
We also provide custom drivers for some Elo and 3M products.

Note: Make sure to download and run the Calibration Script with any touchscreen you wish to use.

As you have mentioned that bright sign media player supports touch screen monitors having USB HID drivers of Samsung, 3M, NEC, and other brands, I want to share that it also works fine with my Viewsonic monitor TD2220-2.
Thank you for sharing. It helps in gaining knowledge and making solutions.
