Yes, you can connect buttons to BrightSign players using the GPIO, USB, or Serial port. This includes support for turning on an LED or light when the button is pressed, at specified intervals, or when specific content is playing or has finished playing.
GPIO

Use 3rd Party Partner control boards to connect more than 8 buttons/LEDs and support higher voltage LEDs or other outputs.
USB
(XT1143, 4K1142, 4K1042, XD1033, XD1132, XD1032, HD1023, HD1022, LS423, LS322, LS422, XD1030, XD1230, HD1020, HD1010, HD810)
You can connect USB capacitive buttons (such as the BP200/BP900) to any unit with a USB port.
Serial
