    is there any option to set up the screen resolution of the XD1230 to 1536 x 384, 512 x 384 and 1024 x 384?

Those are non standard resolutions. For displays like this what you can do is choose the resolution that matches the width or selecting the resolution that is a little bigger than the width of the video, and then in the layout video size your zones to fit the height. The displays normally scan the incoming signal and only look at the portion of the signal that the screen will display. So, you just have to build a project that only uses 384 pixes tall, and it should work fine.

for a project we have to use a 7" touchscreen with 800 x 480 via VGA.

    1) Could we use a brightsign player (HD1020) with this display with this resolution?

    2) Which touchtypes are supported?

    1) HD1020 can be set to output a video signal at 800x600 via VGA, and you can create a zone that has 480 pixes tall, and it should work fine.

    2) You can find info about supported controllers here: http://support.brightsign.biz/entries/262256-what-touchscreens-can-i-use-with-the-brightsign

hi. I want to buy some HD220 players. some to use with full HD projectors, some with XGA ones (1024x768)

I can set the output video signal to that resolution (1024x768)?

does this model only has HDMI output? or it has VGA too? if not, how can i accomplish that?

    thanks!

    Hi Javier,

    HD220 unit supports 1024x768 resolution.

This model has HDMI and VGA outputs.

1024x768 resolution is supported over both HDMI and VGA outputs.

    Hi,

Is there a way to get all available resolutions out of a brightscript class? I only found the videomode command in the BrightScript> console...

    Thanks!

    Dear Brightsign Team,

in this table you indicate that a HD120 supports 1920x1200x60 via VGA. However this resolution (which I need for a project) is not selectable in BrightAuthor, also there are irritating forum entries if the HD120 really supports this resolution or not. Please tell me if this resolution is possible with a HD120.

    Best regards,

    Daniel

    Hi Daniel,

HD120 unit does not support 1920x1200x60. To see the full list of supported resolutions for HD120, you should download BrightAuthor https://www.brightsign.biz/downloads/hd-devices/, install it on your PC, create a new presentation (File > New Presentation) for HD120, select HDMI or VGA connector type and see which resolutions are supported over which connector.

    Hi Stefan,

If you have a BrightSign unit with RS-232 port, you can connect it to your PC using a null modem cable. Then open serial port terminal (Putty for example), configure serial port (see attached snapshot) and open connection. Then boot the unit without SD card (or USB drive), press SVC button on the side of the unit using a pen, type videomode and press Enter. Unit will show all video modes supported by a current version of firmware.

Thanks for your reply! I got that, but was wondering if there is a way to get such a list out of BrightScript Objects. We are programming custom scripts and would need a list of all supported resolutions and show that list on the screen.

    Thanks again

Hello, I am running a presentation on XD1230 player that uses the HDMI input from a CPU, it is set to be working on 1920 X 1080 resolution, however every time i reboot the player the resolution gets changed to something smaller. Is there a way to force the HDMI Input to look always for 1920X1080 instead of scanning?

    Thanks

We have 10@LS424 players and each is feeding a Blonder Tongue Qam modulator. The Blonder Tongue only accepts 1080p but the player is putting out 1080i.

If i "Change Video Mode" from Automatic to 1080i does it store those values?

We are using Tightrope Media Systems -Carousel, to feed them data.
