How do I use the Geo-Fencing feature?

Note: This feature is not available in the current version of BrightAuthor:connected.

Any USB GPS receiver that conforms to the NMEA GPS standard and doesn't require drivers should work with BrightSign players. For example, this GPS module has been tested and proven to work with BrightSign players.

Follow these steps to enable geo-fencing in BrightAuthor:

Go to File > Presentation Properties > Interactive.
Select port 2 from the Port dropdown menu.
Check the GPS Receiver box to the right.

Please refer to the attached document. There is a short description on how to obtain the coordinates for your target area, as well as how it is entered in BrightAuthor.

So what receiver do work now that GlobalSat is discontinued?

is there a list of GPS-trackers that work whit Brightsign?
