Hi.
I'm trying to use this webinspector but can't make it work. I did everything as it is written here, but when I try to connect chrome says that it could not connect to ip_of_my_brightsign:2999.
I looked through the log of the device but can't find any notice that it actually loaded the script (I dont see any Loading ******.brs except the autorun.brs). Should the log contain any info that the script loaded? Are the print statements in the script supposed to send strings to the log?
The script is on the SD card. It s an XD1030. Firmware is 4.7.112.
Is the diagnostic web server enabled on your XD1030? If yes, can you access it from your web browser? You need to enter the ip address of the unit to access the diagnostic web server.

Today I tried it one more time with a test presentation (4 empty zones one with html5 content) and it works normally. I will look into the other presentation where it does not work next week. I'll try with removing conten and look when it will start working. If I can not find the problem I will export and send the presentation in the coming week.

Just visit the diagnostic server on port 2999,
this will show a list of active webpages e.g. 10.0.0.20:2999
