Where is the eventlog?

The eventlog.txt file can be found in the following locations. You may need to set your computer to show hidden files and folders to find this file.

Windows Vista / Windows 7 / Windows 8 / Windows 8.1 / Windows 10

%localappdata%\\BrightSign\BrightAuthor\version_number 

For example:
C:\Users\John Smith\AppData\Local\BrightSign\BrightAuthor\4.3.0.11
for user John Smith using BrightAuthor 4.3.0.11

Windows XP

%appdata%\BrightSign\BrightAuthor\version_number

For example:
C:\Documents and Settings\John Smith\Local Settings\Application Data\BrightSign\BrightAuthor\3.7.0.11
for user John Smith using BrightAuthor 3.7.0.11

    Hi! After a 2 hours transfer, I've got the error message when sending video #6. I'm sending you the error log.

    Do you mean the publish process took 2 hours? How big is your presentation? Please list the steps that lead to the error.

    Error still persisting, client waiting for Proof of Concept. Please advise urgently.

     

    Event Log attached when attempting to create a new group using the latest Bright Author.

    Hi Paul,

    This looks like a proxy issue. You may want to open a support ticket and provide further details about the type of proxy used on this network and describe what you've done so far to configure this proxy appropriately to allow BA to access the BSN servers
