How do I play XDx30 presentations on XDx32 models?

If you author a presentation for an XDx30 player in the BSN WebUI, then attempt to schedule it to a group containing an XDx32 model, you will see an incompatibility message on the XDx32 player. 

Presentations created for XDx32 players are compatible with XDx30 players, but not vice-versa. To modify your presentation so that it works with both XDx30 and XDx32 players, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the Edit tab in the WebUI.
2. Click the Edit button beneath the presentation.
3. Click the Settings button.
4. Change the Device Model to an XDx32 model (XD232, XD1032, or XD1132).
5. Click OK.
6. Click Save to save the presentation.

If the presentation is currently scheduled for one or more groups containing XDx30 players, you may be prompted to update the firmware on XDx30 players in those groups. This occurs because XDx32 presentations built in the WebUI require a newer firmware version than that used by XDx30 presentations.

If prompted with this dialog, select a contemporary version of firmware (6.0.x or later) for the XDx30 players and click OK. The next time the XDx30 players check in, they will download and run the firmware update before playing the presentation.
