What additional hardware do I need to use a BrightSign player?

To use a BrightSign player two additional pieces of hardware are required: a display and an SD/microSD card (or USB flash drive).

To use BrightAuthor:connected to schedule and publish presentations, you will also need a Windows PC, Mac, or a computer that is capable of running Chrome, with an SD card reader or adapter (if using an SD card for storage).

If you wish to use BrightAuthor instead of BrightAuthor:connected, you can only use a Windows PC with an SD card reader or adapter. 

If you do not want to use BrightAuthor:connected or BrightAuthor, you can load your content directly onto the SD card, and the BrightSign player will automatically play it in alphabetical order. You can also playback HTML content automatically by placing the index.html file in the root of the SD card.
