Max imagefile dimension for HD2000?

Is it possible to display a file (bmp or png) that is larger than 1280x768 without scaling on the HD2000 to take full advantage of the 1080i output?

If I try to display a larger image (1920x1080 or 1920x1152 or even 1281x769) I get a memory over run errors. I did not see a max imagefile size in any of the documentation.

What I have noticed is:

When my VIDEOMODE is 1920x1080x60i and the IMAGEMODE is set to 2 a 1280x720 image is properly scaled to fill the screen.

While still outputting 1080i HDMI video and the IMAGEMODE is set to 2 the same 1280x720 image is centered on screen with a large black border. (scaled to the center of the screen)

thanks
