How to control LED output by a .csv file?

Hi,

I'm using a HD2000, and a Excel .csv file to control the video files playback.

I want to control several LED while playing different video clips, how to modify the .csv file?

Thanks!

    Julian,

The csv file doesn't currently control the leds. We are currently working on adding that functionality. It can be done using a custom script.

Any news regarding led-controll functionality in a csv file ???

This would be much easier since script writing seems easier to understand than it really is. Im a bit overwhelmed by all the roku references. im dying for a tutorial in brightscript, since i have no scripting experience. 2 weeks studying references did not teach me fast enough....

If you have any specific questions, please ask. A good way to start it to look at the autorun.bas, for sample scripting.

For led control in a csv file, we have an updated autorun (version 1.1.8 or later) that's currently in testing. It'll be poted on the website this week. I will send it to you via email, along with a draft of our user's guide.

Any news on controlling outputs via a csv? Have you posted the autorun 1.1.8 or later, and I just can't find it? I'd like to count how many times a video is played with an external counter, and this function sounds ideal. Thanks.    g

    Gunner,

The functionality is already available for the HD2000. For the HD600, we're working on the release and updated autoplay file that will allow the same functionality.

if you have an HD2000, download the latest user's guide, and look at the CSV section of the user's guide. It includes the gpios, gpioOFF, and gpioON commands that you can use in a csv file to turn on and off leds.

Any news on the LED switching for the HD600. We have to link together HD600 with a touch screen and a HD2000 with a large HD display. So I need to activate outputs from the HD600 to trigger the HD2000. I did look at doing it via the serial port, but that means losing the DEBUG, which is too useful at present.
