Does any brightsign player support 3840 x 2400 resolution?

From what I've been able to find out I think the answer is no, but I would like to know if anyone has succeeded playing content of this resolution on a brigthsign?

You could try and manually edit the resolution in the .bpf XML file or JSON file in the case of BS Connected.

Then, open in BrightAuthor and publish without saving first.

    That might just work.

Let us know how that went.

Well, I did ask Brightsign as well and they say no player will support that resolution. However, I'm inclined to test what you propose!

I will try it this week and see how it pans out.

    Thanks for your reply!

Just realized that the resolution is larger than UHD so that might not have been a great idea :)

Would be interesting to see your results.

Video bitrate would be something to keep at supported rate.

Thanks again for your reply! I did try to follow your advice, however it does not work. Hardly a surprise, obviously!

I hope this resolution will be supported in the future, we shall see. In the meantime I will have to use 1920x1200 for this.

In case anyone reading this in the future is interested in Brightsign's answer, this is what they told me:

No, none of our available players support that resolution and it's significantly higher pixel clock than the current maximum 4096x3160 it's not likely to work even if you implemented custom timing.
