UDP Commands to Zone (Audio)

Dear BS Community,

i am trying to change the whole audio volume of each player of an Master/Slave Setup. My setup consist of 8 XD1030 with latest FW one of them is the "master" the rest are slaves. Finally the master reacts to the keyboard input but slaves dont. Maybe i am kind of stupid but i cannot see the failure... Basicly i followed the "Real troubles with UDP Volume change sync" posting.

Thanks in advance

Sebastian

Looks like you are very close to a working solution.

Could you share the actual project files of the master and a slave?

Also, if you are sending UDP to 255.255.255.255, you might want to try

"All devices on the local subnet" (Less aggressive)

Possibly the slave volume is limited to 20?

My previous recommendation still stands: Send UDP to "All devices on the local subnet" instead of 255.255.255.255.

Also, for troubleshooting you could try and send UDP messages up/down to the slave from a tools such as Hercules or PacketSender.

Thanks. The last thing i tried was to decrease volume on several spots in brightauthor. I tried presentation properties and Zone Volume on zone properties - nothing worked for me - the volume is still 100%. So i go with connector volume as entry evnt for the movie and it works. But i am curious about the other settings i tried - so i am far away from having a central sync event for my setup...

But unfortunately i am on a business trip til end of the week - so i will triy it next weekend.

    Thanks in advance
