Google Drive support for public URLs is ending

At the end of August, Google Drive is discontinuing support for publicly hosted content (i.e. allowing access to files using googledrive.com/host/ID). This means that Google Drive will no longer be a viable option for Simple File Networking or hosting data feeds for your presentations.

If you wish to continue using a third-party file hosting service for Simple File Networking and/or data-feed hosting, there are a number paid services, including a Dropbox subscription, that allow you to generate public URLs for file downloads.
