New Firmware Available

BrightSign firmware versions 4.6.75 and 3.11.7 are available on the Software Downloads page. The firmware download section is located below the BrightAuthor download section.

The following is a brief description of each firmware release. If you’d like a detailed description of all new features, fixes, and improvements, you can view the release notes for each version next to the download link on the Software Downloads page.

4.6.75

The 4.6.75 firmware is compatible with the following models: HD120, HD220, HD1020, XD230, XD1030, and XD1230. Note that the update files for XD and HD players are different. Make sure to use the download link that corresponds to your player model.

This version includes a fix for the corrupt JPEG lockup issue described in a previous post. There is also a fix for a rare problem that would occur during the firmware update process.

3.11.7

The 3.11.7 firmware is compatible with the following models: HD110, HD210, HD210w, HD410, HD810, HD1010, and HD1010w.

This version includes the new roNetworkStatistics BrightScript object, though this functionality is not built out in BrightAuthor yet and can only be utilized with custom scripts. It also includes several improvements and fixes for specific network environments.
