snapshot images

Hi

could you tell me if the snapshot images take up space on the sd card

and if so how doe we delete it off the sd card remotely as we are far away from site.

sd crad is at limit and its removing old files

we are using the latest firmware on the HD222

    Yes, snapshots are stored on the player's storage and take up space.

    When you enable Remote Snapshot on the player, you can specify how many snapshot images should be stored on the sd card.

    In BrightAuthor this setting is called "Save up to"

    It means the unit will create new snapshot every 10 minutes, but will keep only 10 latest snapshot images on the card. Older snapshots will be deleted.

     

    In BSN Web UI this parameter is called "Local Count Limit"



    If you edit snapshot settings on the player via diagnostic web server, look at "Number of snapshots to save" setting.
