Best Way to Display Weather on Standalone Unit

I am using an older HD210 model as a stand-alone unit in a public space. I would like to add a weather forecast to a zone on the screen. What is the best way to do that?  I am able to remove the sd card and upload information from a pc to it daily.

Currently I am taking a screen shot of the NOAA website and adding that to the zone as an image, but it is time consuming to get it to the right size, and the text is not always as legible as I would like. I would like to find a faster method that displays the information more clearly. The NOAA site offers the forecast as xlm and kml files, but I haven't been able to make them work in the ticker zone.

Also, I am new to BrightSigns, so detailed, step-by-step answers would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hi, it is possible to do what you want on your player using the XML feeds provided. If the XMl feed is in the RSS format you can extract the title and description, assuming they contain the info you require. Read up on live text states or ticket feeds @ docs.brightsign.biz

If it is not in a compatible format you can 'parse' and rewrite on the fly the XML feed to get the desired results.

Please post the feed you wish to use and a description of the desired outcome.
