We used LS423 as audio player. We used USB type C to RCA cable connecting AMP （Attach Blew Photo).
We did use BA 4.6 to creating file with latest firmware for LS423. But it is not sound came out. it worked on cellphone by use same cable.
Please let us know any way to make this working.
Not all "USB C audio adapters" will work. It depends if it's a passive adapter wired to use the correct pins and sense circuit, or if it's a USB audio device.
A USB audio device will NOT work.
Like some phones that lack dedicated analog audio ports, the LS423 audio adapter cable is a passive cable that switches the USB port into an analog audio output. The LS423's USB C port cannot support USB communication while outputting analog audio - the modes are mutually exclusive.

are you running the latest firmware on the player? The adapter should trigger the unit to go into audio mode for the usb automatically. But, if the adapter doesn't have proper pins, then it might not work. The player can be forced into audio only mode using a plugin to change a registry setting.
If you're still having this problem, I can post the plugin, but it should work automatically.
Hi, I had the same problem. In order to fix this I followed these steps:
1) Double Click on the media which has been set as your initial state.
2) Click the "Advanced" tab.
3) Under "Entry Command", add a command.
4) Select "Set Audio".
5 ) Check off "Analog Stereo" under "Audio Output".
6) Republish.
Worked for me... hope this helps.

Will this work when I disable the analog audio in the zone properties as well?
Is there any specification for the usb c audio cables? The one provided by brightsign doesn't do the job always, like in shanes example to connect amps.

That's a USB (data) and serial port cable. It doesn't have audio.
You need the LS424 USB-C Analog Audio cable, which is not currently listed on store.brightsign.biz for some reason, so call Sales (United States 1-408-852-9263 / Global: +44 122 329 8500).
Note that the USB-C Analog Audio cable is only compatible with LS3, LS4, and LS5 players and you cannot use this cable in conjunction with USB peripherals. With the USB-C Analog Audio cable attached, the USB-C port carries analog audio and not USB data.
