HD222 Simple File Networking Problem

Hi all,

I was using Simple File Networking in all of my players (HD110 to HD223 and LS322) via Dropbox Public Folder. Since Dropbox drop that feature I'm stuck with all the players with out being able to update the content on them.

I did the same setting but with our company web server but I'm unable to get the projects on the monitor. It stays on a black screen. I followed all the steps mentioned on the troubleshoot page and nothing. The only thing I need to check are the extensions and mime files on the web server.

Any thoughts or recommendations on this problems. Thanks in advance.

    Other people are also experiencing issues with SFN.

    MIME types settings on the server, have been mentioned in the past in the context of SFN.

     

    You could examine the logs also, to get more insight. 

    Examine the pool directory on the SD card, and see if media files get downloaded or not.

    If you are using your own web server, then the server's logs can help too.

    What is the latest on this? We have been having issues with SFN too. Were you able to solve this?
