I have a 30 day trial test account setup for BSN.
I can successfully connect to the WS-* endpoint and the calls all work fine, however each call takes 5-15 seconds.
This is particularly a problem when trying to upload an 8MB file in chunks of 256kib.
Is the test account throttled or limited in some way?
Or are these speeds normal?
I'm having a similar issue, slow uploads. I'm also curious if the uploads are throttled on the trial accounts.
My issue was down to using wsHttpBinding. I changed to using basicHttpBinding and it was much faster.
I'm more of a basic tech guy, I'm not qualified to be a fully credentialed IT guy, I'm doing some simple upload tests using the both BrightAuthor and the WebUI.
My internet connection up and down is 300 Mbps. Uploading a 3 Gb project to the BSN takes around an hour. Downloading the same project takes less than three minutes. I don't understand the discrepancy in the data transfer times. I've tested on the corporate lan and at home. The slow uploads appear to be on the Brightsign end. Odd.
