You had me at "no lights" :)

So no LED lights on the player?

Sounds like a power supply issue. Do you have a second set of player and power adapter to try and swap?

    hi

    thanks for the reply

i used other power supply from second unit ( marked the first one) but still no go

    also startup with autorun.brs

but as i am working on a mac the file came out as autorun.brs.txt

maybe i should delete the .txt from the file

or should i copy the file to the sd while running om windows...

either way i am a fresh user 1 hour or so..

maybe i put the complete wrong files on the sd to begin with...

    Hi Dennis (hoi Dennis :-)

If you are publishing from BrightAuthor you can publish to a folder, copy this to a SD card or directly publish on a player.

I use Parallels to run Windows on my Mac for BrightAuthor. On Mac you can also copy from the published folder to an SD card but I will do that normally also from the Windows environment just to make sure,

But the adding of the .txt extension is not something that happens on the fly. Was the autorun file pherhaps opened in Texteditor?

I would suggest to format the SD card (from Windows environment or use SDFormatter on Mac) and do a new setup and publish from Windows.

    Best regards (groet), Eric

If the power light on the player, is not green, then you may have a faulty player.

If you have another player, you should try it instead.

Hahaha , yes call him. You should have seen lights anyway. As soon as a unit is powered it already should show a green light. For now, weltrusten!

    ok problem solved

    method:

    - glasses

    - ligth

    -coffee

    - taking machine out of garbage container ( is the project, movie about waste..)

    problem:

    machine is dead

    solution:

plug powercord in right socket....not the 3,5 mm audio out..

    i feel stupid but happy

and wonder why this hole size is compatible...

    thanks for replying etc. etc.
