Unable to delete User Events in BA V4.6.0.36, or redefine touch areas for those events

WIndows 7 SP1 all updates as of this date.

I cannot delete User Events through Manage User Events, either individually (the X is not greyed out, but neither does it do anything) or using the "Delete All" button.  I even get the "are you sure" pop-up, but still teh events persist after saying "Yes".

What am I missing?  Is this a bug?  Is there a problem with server permissions, as my company asks us to work with files exclusively kept on a Win server?

The events are touch events saved at definition time, and I have found no way to edit the touch areas once they are saved.  That would be nice, if anyone knows how this would be possible I'd love to know.

Thanks,

-r

I can't give you access to our servers, but if you like, I'll dropbox the project.  You do just need the .bpf and none of the media etc, right?  I'll include a screen capture vid of me not being able to delete the events, and the BA version window for good measure.

BTW, another apparent anomaly is that when editing a touch event (say by double clicking), the option to check the "save as user event" box is active and it allows me to name the event, but it does not appear in the user events list.  Defining a user touch event only works in the initial definition of the touch event.
