Triggering video event with USB

I have a USB button that I am trying to setup so that when clicked, it triggers the home screen to transition to a video. I have the project all setup in brightsign author, but when the button is clicked, nothing happens. One potential issue is that I may not be using the "Specify USB input" field correctly. Any ideas why the button is not triggering the event? Below is a picture of my current setup. This project is for a Brightsign Model XD1033. Thank you!

In the Specify USB input, you need to type in the string sent from the USB device.

Which USB device are you using?

Does it work like a keyboard?

If you connect it to your computer, open a text editor, and push buttons, does it type visible characters?

Yes. When I press it within text editor, it just makes spaces. Acts like the spacebar.

I am not sure what you mean by both buttons? It is just one solid button. When I plugged it into my machine, the push causes a blank space. There is no manual

    Scratch that. My mistake.

It actually says in the eBay item: "BIG Photo Booth Lighted USB Push Button LED Programmed for the Space key."

Instead of the USB event, use the keyboard event, and type this in the "Specify Keyboard Input": <sp>

What "specify usb input" would you use for a touch monitor?

Touch monitor are handled differently by defining a touch area on the screen.
