Display a website HD1023

Hi - new user. Have searched the forum but can't seem to locate a comparative question to mine....

Here’s what I am trying to achieve:
  1. The BrightSign player will be connected to ethernet and will be accessing a URL within my customers network. The player is also connected to a 43inch digital sign (with touch) in portrait mode.
  2. I know from customers network I will need to add some proxy / port info. I think I am ok to configure that on the player
  3. All I want to do is run a single URL in full screen portrait mode. No rotation of any content or anything fancy right now…..just one URL.
  4. Prefer to keep this simple and config it through mini SD card.

Can anyone give me some simple direction to configure this quickly please? Finding it hard to find this scenario in the user guides etc.  Thanks in advance.

    Hi I have a similar issue. I wasn't able to display any URL. I copied your sample code, saved as an autorun.brs file and put it to the root of a clean micro SD card, insert the micro SD card and reboot player. but nothing is displaying.

    I'm using XT1143, FW version is 7.1.65

    Thank you for your quick reply :)

    We are struggling to load an single external webpage (we tried several) via HTML5 function on our HD233. Attempts result in black screens or what ever color we set as a background color. The preview function shows a white screen.  We have no problem loading direct content such as images and video to our T.V's. Our IT team has checked the units connected to the TV's should have internet access. They also said that they were able to display webpages when it was initially set up.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

    Web pages are not created equal...

    Are you able to show a page like http://google.com?

    Is that web page publicly available, so we could try to load it too?

    Hello! I am having a similar issue. I would like to display a client's website and allow users to navigate and purchase items through the website. Can you help me achieve this? I am using the HD1023.
