Bright Author Layout Portrait Orientation

I am trying to create a new portrait mode display.  I have selected the Monitor orientation to Portrait - bottom on right.  Is there a way to change the "Bright Author Edit\layout" orientation view (Main Viewing area on right) to a resemble portrait rather than horizontal?

Could you include an annotated screenshot, so we understand better?

Currently no, the only place it's visibly portrait is in the layout thumbnail in the Playlist view.

Depending on the version of BrightAuthor, background image of the Rectangular Touch Event is shown portrait, but the touch coordinates and layout are still defined in Landscape, so in those versions it's very misleading.

Also remember that not all player models are able to rotate portrait content in all situations.

So for the least amount of user confusion in mixed-player environments, author Landscape with Rotated Landscape (sideways portrait) content.

Brandon, thanks for the response.   It is unfortunate that a "true" portrait view is not available in the edit\layout main window.   This seems to limit the "ease of use" of the Bright Author application in a Vertical deployments.  Considering that there is only two ways to orientate a monitor, it seems that something like this should have been already resolved.  Do you know if Bright Author ever considered upgrading the software for this?  Thanks!

I am extremely disappointed that when editing a template or layout we are not able to view the layout or preview in portrait mode.   I am using the HD244 player.  This is terrible.  And it has been this way since the last post in 2017.  Brightsign must really not support their products.
