Please be extra cautious of content requests coming from Lesotho (landlocked country in South Africa).
I was contacted about providing weather content. When came time to pay Invoice, after many delays person said they could not pay via PayPal (all of my International customers pay this way with no issues), and then requested my banking information to pay invoice. My bank also warned against this option, as it was a high risk.
I also offered the option of paying via MoneyGram, which I have been told is very popular in that area of the world, client again said this was too difficult and wanted banking information.
Last response from client was that they really needed this service, and would try using PayPal. Then all communication broken off.
This client did seem to have a few BrightSign players, as I saw them accessing my servers on test feeds. But still something odd about them saying they could only pay with bank transfer.
I thought I would pass this on to others.
