Simple Show Control question. Three synchronized screens with a looping default state with a show start triggered by UDP

I am building a simple show setup with three synchronized screens. The default state is an infinite loop until the master player receives a UDP command to start playing a show synchronized across all three screens. At the end of the show it should return to the default looping state. What is the best way to set this up? The players are 1 XT1143 and 2 XT243 players, so Brightwall is not an option.

Additionally we want to add the capability to watch a Blu-Ray passed through the HDMI input of the XT1143, but not on the full 1080p of the master screen, but a zone on it. Is there a way to change a zone's size using BrightAuthor to do that?

I am very new to this kind of programming, so forgive me if the answer is dead simple.

So far we have only used the Enhanced Synch method for video walls.  I have not had much use for the BrightWall.

So make your attract loop for the master and each slave (with the appropriate Link-Synch and Synch objects) and have it loop constantly.  Then attach a UDP event to each asset in the attract loop for the master and both slaves...same synch word for all.  Anytime the master and slave players "hear" the synch word they go to the first item in your "show".  Now you play each asset of the show with the appropriate Link-Synch and Synch events attached to each asset (with unique synch words this time) and at the end, your last time event or media end event whould loop back to the attract loop.

For external HDMI in on the XT1143 you can create a zone just for it and size it they way you wish.  Also you can hide/show/resize zones within the playlist/presentation (Advanced - Other-)

I am not a content guy but the short answer to your question is yes, everything you want to do is easily done with BrightAuthor.  I just might not have described it very well.  :)
