USB Wireless Adapter

I have an HD3 player and need to put it in a location where I do not have network connectivity.  I have a small usb wireless adapter (edimax) that I use to plug into desktops when I need to temporarily relocate them and use wireless.  Do the players support this?  Is there a way to load the required drivers onto the player to make it work?
