Hi all, I am preparing to use my two HHD1024 expanded players for the first time.
I'm making a video artwork that basically slides from right to left from one monitor to another, and loop. I had been told by one tech to make a single file for his gear (he works with those beautiful big LED screens for concerts and events which has its own gear) - but for me and my beautiful Brightsign HHD1024 expanded units - this will not work. correct?
So I should create two files for two 1080 x 1920 monitors yes?
The left-hand monitor and a right-hand monitor are wall mounted side by side.
look of the video is as if the left-hand monitor is black until the the video file moves from screen right to screen left of the right-hand monitor then screen right to screen left of the left-hand monitor.
I'm working in Aftereffects and can produce the two frame aceturate files - that is fine. I am not sure the bezel/frame size of the monitors will talk to the gallery tech about that and build in some wriggle room and nudge the two monitors until it looks correct (the exhibition is in another city).
Firstly I just want to check that I need to make two video files, not one. Dang it.
And lastly, as I have never done this before - would also appreciate a link to how to best author these two files to work first time in the brightsign universe. I know it will take me many times...deadline is 7 July so am ok.
many thanks,
Nathan
