Player network issues

We have 6 Brightsign players on a LAN that is temporarily being connected to the internet by a 5G router (fibre is on order but is some weeks away). We're getting a consistent 40 to 60 Mb/s download on a mobile connected to the WiFi on the LAN although it does occasionally dropout for a few seconds at a time. The Brightsign players keep getting "stuck" on the front page (playing a looped video off the SD card), i.e. if you tap the screen it's supposed to go to the website so you can interact and browse the site. Are they very sensitive to network instability? Is there any way to make them behave better on this type of LAN?
