HD1023 w/ v6.2.33 Firmware Won't Allow Firmware Updates

I have an HD1023 that I am doing new programming on, and it won't allow me to update the Firmware. Nor does it let me get past the Device Setup Screen when I am trying to configure with Standalone. The Finish Button doesn't do anything! And having setup files on an SD card with Firmware Update doesn't work. Any ideas??

Possibly bad microSD card slot issue?...

For troubleshooting, try removing the SD card and instead use a USB drive.

Just tried that. Same thing....Keeps going directly to the BrightSign Device Setup Screen, amd when I select No Networking, can't get past the setup screen with Device Name, Time, etc...one thing the Firmware field shows nothing and doesn't allow me to select anything there. Clicking 'Finish' does nothing....no response.

If you place an image or video on a blank sd card, does it play it?

If you power up without SD card, are you seeing the white text showing serial number firmware over black?

BrightSign Support got back to me...turns out Version 6.2.33 doesn't support exFat, so I had to reformat the miniSD Card and voila'....all is good. Was able to do the firmware upgrade to current level and get things sorted out. Thanks for responding to the question!

    Good stuff!

Thanks for taking the time to come back here and share the solution.

Old tech seems cheap at first, but it has a major hidden cost which is consuming one's time... :)
