Webpage not playing sound

Dear Community,

I am streaming a webpage using Brightsign player that is used to display Qmatic information. When number is called out webpage generates a sound which cannot be heard while streaming it from Brightsign player.

Please advise on what could be issue?

    Hello Shabeer,

    Check the audio settings on the Zone Properties to ensure that you are feeding the zone that contains the HTML to your audio device.  If other zones are not using audio, disable the audio on those zones by unchecking them in the zone properties.  Steps:

    • Select HTML zone in Playlist "Zone" area
    • Choose Zone Properties Button
    • In dialog box, select Audio Output options
    • Analog Stereo - uses 3.5mm audio output
    • HDMI - uses HDMI passthrough to display
    • SPDIF - uses Digital Optical audio)
    • Check your volume levels on the zone
