Pics with different time lengths

Hello,
I am currently working on getting a presentation for our display and I've run into a problem, I need different slides to run for different lengths. I tried using a .csv file named "autoplay.csv" and it doesn't output anything (it does lock the resolution to 1080i though so I know it's being accessed).

Here is my csv file tell, let me know what I am doing wrong (need it by Thursday!!!!)

    Hi,

I'm sending you an email as well.

You can't use the csv file with different timeout periods. Only one timeout event is allowed.

You can do this with a custom script. Please send me the csv file you are trying to use. We are also testing a playlist feature that could handle this every easily, but it's still in beta.

Are there four groups of 10 each with a different timeout period? So, first 10 is 10 seconds, 2nd 10 is 20 seconds, etc?

    Lyndon,

We'd like to implement buttons to add some interactivity to our displays.  Our customers have requested the ability to "move forward, reverse and pause" the picture/video display frames.  To implement this functionality, I need to change the display time for various pictures based on user input.  I recognize custom scripts can provide the desired operation.  However, we have folks generating content for our Brightsigns that are not comfortable maintaining custom scripts.  The ability to have multiple "timeout:x" columns in a CSV file would have been ideal.

Is there any plans to add this capability to the "autorun.bas"/"autoplay.csv" script system?  If not, other than a custom script, is there a way to accomplish the desired functionality?

    Thanks,

    Preston,

Are you saying you want a button press to change how long the next image played will play? A button press immediately interrupts image playback, so the brightsign doesn't wait for the whole timeout period to pass before acting on the button press.

Can you provide some detail about exactly how this demo will work? Once I have a clearer picture of what you are doing, I can determine if there's another way to accomplish you want.

I will find out if we plan on adding support for addtional timeout events.

Keep in mind that we do provide custom scripting solutions. With a description of what functionality you need, I can check on that as well.

The new hd600 1.1 software supports a simple playlist mode with different times between slides.  It also supports playlists pausing after a slide until a button is pressed.
