Mouse Cursor problem on HD600

Hi All,

I've downloaded the BrightSign_1_1_28 update, v1.1.7 autorun.bas and the HD600 demo, when i run the demo and connect a usb mouse to HD600, the mouse can control the system, but there's no cursor display on the screen.

How to solve this problem?

Thanks!

This is unrelated, but please verify you've updated the autorun.bas that's in the demo with the one you downloaded separately from the web.

If you unplug the unit, and reconnect it, and the mouse still isn't showing, the cursor.bmp file might be corrupted. Try deleting the file from your flash card, and copying it over again.

I am having the same issue with the HD600's I have also. Is there a fix for this? If not, can we get one. My customers are complaining about having to plug and unplug to get to work.

    Any help is appreciated

I'm sending you beta software for the HD600 to try.

I have uploaded the update.rok, and the display reads

"ROKU BRIGHTSIGN HD600 SOLID STATE MEDIA PLAYER

    V.1.3.11"

but now nothing works at all.

Perhaps you have given me HD2000 not HD600?

    Lyndon,

The fix works perfectly in all tests, the only drawback is about a 5 to 7 second pause before it actually powers up. Other than that, flawless!

    Great news.

Can you send me an email to let me know how your customers are using the unit primarily? I'd like to do some more testing with this release, and I'll focus on how you're using the unit to make there aren't any hiccups. Thanks.

    Lyndon
