HD 2000 HDMI Compatibility Trouble

I am having trouble using the HD 2000 via an HDMI cable.

I am trying to play an Mpeg 2 file. Whenever I connect the HD 2000 using an HDMI cable, I get a message that says that the mode is not supported. I have updated the firmware and have made sure that the file is named correctly and I have the autoplay files set up like the user guide tells me to.

My Video Mode is set to 720x 480x 60p and Image Mode is 1.

Thank you

Does the same video mode setting work over a component cable with your display?

-Have you tried a different HDMI cable? Normally, mode not supported means you are trying to use a video mode with your display that's not supported. But, if it works fine over component, it's mor elikely a problem hdmi cable.

-If possible, can you test a different video mode with the same cable and monitory. For example, if you try 1280x720x60p, do you get the same error?

I have used the HDMI cable with a DVD player and it worked just fine, so it can't be the cable. I have also had the roku splash screen come up when I updated the firmware so I know that the HDMI cable works with the unit.

I have tried 1280 x 720 x 60p, and that did not fix the problem either.

Ok, did you also confirm if the same video output works fine on the display when using component cables?

I got it working now. It turns out that Open Office was saving the playlist incorrectly, so I opened it in Excel and saved it from there.
