elotouch 1537L (apr)

My supplier delivered me a 1537L elo touchscreen with apr technology. I can't get it to work on a brightsign hd 2000.
Is there an alternative firmware for it?
Drivers for it are in short supply (no OS X, newer linux kernels) so I fear the worst.

    Hi,

    I'm sorry to hear it's not working. it is an Acoustic Pulse Recognition display. This is a new touch technology from Elo and it requires a lot of processing on the client devices. We can't support APR.

    The brightsign will work with the intellitouch versions of the elo screens and any of Elo's other technologies.

    The brightsign doesn't currently support APR due to the lack of drivers.


    That was last year.  How about 2010.
    Any limitations on which ELO touch model?

    I corrected my original post.

    It's not a driver issue. APR requires a lot of processing on the client side, more processing than we can provide. THat's why it's not supported. All of the other elo touch technologies work.
