3.1.71 - Feedback - GPIO & Sync loop

I have some well tested scripts that work really well with 3.1.46 for synchronising two+ players over UDP. Using GPIO button press to select which file to play, or to stop playback.

v3.1.71 sounded like it should be even better to use, with the preload facilty, so I gave it a go. Prroblems!...

1. GPIO button press is not responded to in a timely fashion every time. First press to play file works promtly, but after that there seems to be a delay of 20+ seconds before the next press is processed. Same scripts with 3.1.46 never do this.

2. My button 2 selects a video to play which is the repeaed upon receiving video end. Not using Loop. So second play is re-synched. 3.1.46 no problem. With 71 there are two variations a) if I preload a second time then play, the slave starts several seconds late. b) if I do not preload but just play(). The slave plays but master does not!

I have to say using the prelaod for the first time on a single play, it seems to be frame perfect sync start.... it's just after that things go wayward!

staying with 3.1.46 for now...

    Andrew,

Can you send me the scripts you are using? Also, the videos you are using, are they transport streams?
