HD1010 network and brightauthor



Hello I am admin for a network of 6 X HD1010 and using BrightAuthor. I have two issues;
1. BrightAuthor will not run on my XP office network unless I have administrator privileges i.e. I cannot run it as a user.
2. On the 1010's (3.1.73) when publishing new content (just jpegs) the player freezes on the old content and requires a reboot before playing the new playlist.
Any help appreciated.

    Please download and install this version of BrightAuthor:

    If after restarting the system that freezes, it plays fine, the software should fix that problem.



    After you do the install, please check this folder:

    C:\Program Files\BrightSign\BrightAuthor\templates



    It should have an autoxml.brs file, that with version number 3.2.1.15. IF the file is an older version, then delete it after the install, and then reinstall the software.

    Hi,



    I saw this problem too. It turned out to be because the images were larger than 1920x1080, which I was told is the maximum supported size.
