BrightSign Synchronization Issue



We have five different screens running BrightSign systems. I am sorry I am not exactly sure which model we are using but we using one of the following:HD110, HD210, HD410, HD810, and HD1010.

For about 4.5 months everything was going fine. Then last week, after an content update all of the systems wanted to synchronize to only of the published playlists. Each system hits an HFS web server to see if updates have been updated. When you look at the HFS web server monitor, you can see each system hitting it. However instead of trying to hit their own playlist file, they are all attempting to hit the same playlist for only one of the screens. As such, all the screens are playing the same content, which was published to that one screen.

What did we do to make it do this?

    I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner.



    If all the units were connecting to different folders for content, someone might have accidentally published a project to the other folders that included a URL for just one folder. That would cause the units to call into the same location.



    To fix it, you need to put setup files on each unit that point to the correct folder.
