What are the settings to use in compressor to generate a h264 file with surround sound.
I've tried several settings and while they look great on a computer, the playback from my HD1010 is pixelated and becomes choppy very quickly.
I'm converting to .ts using VLC (not transcoding!)
I'm using 3.2.53

Alternatively how do you encode a 5.1 surround sound into a MPG file.

    What bit rate are the files from compressor? Do the converted files playback properly on the computer? Is it only on the brightsign that they are pixelated and choppy? It's possible you are using a bitrate that's too high and that's what's causing the pixelated playback.



    Additionally, what's the resolution of of the video you are playing back? Would it be possible to upload a sample clip to us? If so, send me an email at <!-- e --><a href="mailto:support@brightsign.biz">support@brightsign.biz</a><!-- e -->.



    In compressor, if you try to encode 5.1 audio into an mpg file, do you get a separate video and audio file?
