novice looking for answers

is there a limit to the picture size? hd210 would crash with high resolution files. i downsized the files to 1600x1200 with 60 pictures and it seems to work perfect now. i am currently running an espn rss feed but we would like to use our local news.

our hd210 sign is the entrance to our sports complex. here is our local feed:

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.gettysburgsports.com/rss.aspx">http://www.gettysburgsports.com/rss.aspx</a><!-- m -->

any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Yes, there is a max. We don't recommend going above 1920x1080. If you do, you'll run out of graphics memory depending on how high you go, and what else you're trying to do.

    If the image takes oo much memory, it normally just won't play. What is the onscreen resolution you are using? You'll get the best results by simply matching the image resolution to the screen resolution you're using. There's no benefit to using a higher resolution image. It might actually look worse when the image is scaled down from a high resolution to a lower one.

    correct.  it does not work.  i was wondering if you had a solution.  we would like to run the ticker at our grand opening next friday.  my current feed is espn headlines, which works fine.

    When I try to add this feed, I'm getting an error that it's not a valid RSS feed. Is this a media rss feed? We support media rss, but only with rss tags not html tabs.

    So, while this feed isn't working directly, here's one thing you can do. Microsoft has a beta service called frameit live. You can signup for a free account.

    You can add other rss feeds to your "collection", and then get an rss feed for your "collection" that you can use with the media rss feature on the brightsign.

    So, I added your feed to my test account, so this url should now work on your unit using Bright Author:

    <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://NWBTUAA-12.frameit.com/">http://NWBTUAA-12.frameit.com/</a><!-- m -->
