USB Device support

Hi, I was wondering if you could use a USB number keypad as a GPIO button board. I know you can use a mouse & Keyboard. I would like to use my wireless Number pad as a sort of " Remote" when I am demonstrating the inderactive playlist creation to potential customers. Unless a wireless USB device will not work and I have to use a wired one which is ok. I am using the test 18 button board from brightsign, but I was looking to use a more professional looking moe portable solution. -Darrin

If your USB keypad shows up as an HID device, then yes it should work. Some RFID receivers work this way and USB barcode scanners. I've even seen USB speakers that had buttons on them work.

Ok, thank  you Lyndon. I do not think this particular one shows up as an HID device, but I am going to get a wired one that should show up as one.
