HD1010 suddenly no sound

We have a HD1010 that has been deployed for quite some time in a museum exhibit. Yesterday we no longer had sound. We are using HDMI -> DVI for the video, and using the analog audio. I have determined that it is not a problem with the speakers or the audio cable. What steps should I take in troubleshooting this?
