brightscript newbie

I reading the BS script reference,pretty straight forward. Can I modularize my scripts onto the SD card so I can reference them from the autorun.brs? Example have a script file named gexmlweather.c which I would call the function from the autorun.brs?

    I believe the brightscript reference talks about calling one script from another. I'm not very familiar with this process as I haven't used it. You can create one script that has different functions, and you can call those functions. Can you give me an example where you would use multiple scripts?
