I am trying to display across 3 BrightSign controllers. I have 2 HD210 controllers and 1 HD1010 controller connected to a switch via ethernet cables. The switch is not connected to the internet or other network. One of the HD210 controllers has been designated to be the master and has had its IP address manually set using the Manual IP Address file from the BrightSign website. This is the only controller whose IP address has been set. The other HD210 and the HD1010 controller are both slaves. I have created the presentations following the guidelines in the "Creating a Multi-screen Synchronized Presentation using BrightAuthor" tutorial found on the BrightSign website. I have a still image, followed by a video clip, for each of the 3 presentations. The master presentation is set to broadcast a synchronization event, and the slave presentations have been set to receive those events. When the controllers are powered on, both presentations on the HD210 controllers (the master and 1 slave) sync as they should, but the presentation on the HD1010 controller remains stuck on the still image; it does not seem to receive the synchronization event from the master controller. I have checked to make sure all the settings are correct (UDP port 80 for all presentations, sync keywords match as they should, all video clips are exactly the same duration, etc.).
The colleague who loaned me the HD1010 made a point of stating that the controller was set up to be a DHCP slave. I have tried a hard reset of the HD1010, as well as wiping the network registry using a script from the Roku forums ("Cleans out Recovery Script - Deletes the Network Registry"), to no avail. My thinking is that these steps would erase any network settings that may be causing the problem. I have also tried using the HD1010 as the master instead of as a slave, also to no avail.
Can someone offer any insight into why the HD1010 controller is not working? Thank you.

Use this script to clean out the network settings on the unit.

Unless the 1010 was setup with manual network settings, it shouldn't matter that it used dhcp in the past. If you switch cards from one of your 210 slaves with the 1010, then does the problem stay with the 1010? -

Thank you for the quick reply. I will try the script next time I have all 3 controllers available. The answer to your question is yes, the HD1010 still would not sync when I switched cards between the HD210 slave and the HD1010. It also did not work when I set up the HD1010 to be the master. The HD210's worked fine together; only the HD1010 has the problem.
Thanks again. -

The full registry clean script did the trick. I ran the script on all 3 controllers first, then I manually set the IP address of one of the HD210's to designate it as the master. The other HD210 and the HD1010 were slaves. All 3 displays are now showing their presentations, and the slaves are synchronized perfectly with the master.
Thank you very much for your help!
