HELP! - Blinking NTSC LED

I am on my second BrightSign, the first was DOA. The second unit exhibits the following:

1) Apply power, no CF, no other connections
2) Power LED=ON
3) LED sequence SPDIF, RS-232, Control, then slight delay. then
4) Busy LED=ON, NTSC LED=Blinking quickly

That is it...

I have tried multiple brands of CF cards in an attempt to see anything happen (tried with and without update.rok file present, with and without BrightSign demo files present). Connected NULL RS-232 (with LED status for TX & RX pins), nothing.

Any ideas anyone? I am losing faith quickly...

Yes, the initial BrightSign units had (have) some issues.  Yes, I had two units DOA.  BUT...

ROKU stood behind a $299 product with:

    1) After-hours telephone support

    2) Testing, then express shipping of replacement product

    3) Follow-up telephone calls to be sure things were working properly

ROKU put my needs before concern over profit and loss.  I appreciate that, and in return, they have EARNED a customer for life.

By the way, my third, fourth, and fifth BrightSign units are working great for my application.

I have this same issue after applying the upgrade from 1.0.70 to 1.0.72.  What is the fix?
