1st Try...nothing

I just received my HD600 and tried the demo for the 1st time but I got nothing on the display. I've searched the forum and the manual and tried some stuff. This is what I have so far:
version 1.0.73
PQ1 2GB CF Card

In the command shell:
I get the dir of the files on the CF.
If I imageplay a file, I get "unable to open"
If I videoplay a file, I get "ERROR: Unable to open file"

If I remove everything off the CF except autoplay.mpg and autorun.bas, it will start to play the video for a few seconds but it's all choppy; then it looses sync and scrolls thru the LED's and starts over (loop)

My guess is the CF card but would like a second opinion.

I have the event log saved from the command shell I can E-mail.

Thanks!

Yes, it does sound like a problem with the card.

First, try reformatting the card, using fat32.

-Do you have another flash card you can test with, possibly a different brand or size?

Re-formating the card didnt work. I now am unable to read the card from the command shell.  Name some cards that you know work great and I'll find one of those.

    Thanks

Sandisk, Lexar, and Patriot have tested well.

I've personally used Lexar, Sandisk, and ATP.

    I'm personally using a Sandisk 256MB, a Lexar 1GB (Platinum II 80x), and an ATP 8gb (ProMax 150x)

Works fine now with a Scandisk Extreme III.
