Help getting my mpegs to play on Brightsign

Is there anyone out there that can help me get my unit to play my mpegs. Are there any users who offer phone help. I am completely new to this and am at a loss as to how to get this to work.

    Redlin,

Where are you located? If we can't get you up and running, I will give you a call. How are you playing your mpeg? autoplay.mpg? or, autoplay.csv?

Some tips to keep in mind:

-Please update to 1.073 software, if your brightsign doesn't already have that version

-Download the latest autorun.bas, version 1.05 or later. The brightsign demo, if you downloaded it, inclues autorun version 1.04

-Your mpeg must have an audio layer, at 48Khz

-Please download the brightsign demo, if you haven't already, and verify if you can play one of the mpegs in the demo

Normally, if an mpeg won't play, it's either the file or the flash card. Some additional things to try:

-Try a different flash card, if the brightsign demos won't play

-Verify your files are all in the root of the flash card, not in any subfolders

    Dear Roku Lyndon,

I am located in Fruitland, Idaho.  Phone 208-880-6609  I tried 2 different flash cards.  I wrote the video file to the card.  Then I changed the file name to autoplay.vob,  windows alerted that it could destabilize the file.  I don't know if this means anything.  I tried to download the demo and when I tried to upzip it said the download was corrupted.  I will try it on another computer.    I ran the update file, the unit flashed and then stopped on the third light,  the monitor a HD Sharp 52 LCD went to a green lined screen and then stopped.  I unplugged the unit and tried to replay the card.  Nothing.,  The video file was written on a Photodex software program and records as a mpeg file.

    Redlin,

I was able to playback your video after I coverted it to standard video. The problem was that it was HD video. I used ulead studio to convert the video.

I uploaded the converted video to the ftp site, under a folder called redlin.

I also downloaded the program you used to create the video, proshow producer, and created a standard video file with an audio layer, and that plays back fine. So, you can just resave your proshow file.

Regarding the flash that didn't work for updating the hd600, try using just for playback. Some flash cards that don't work running the update, work fine for other things. I'd like to know if the Kodak 1GB CF card has any other issues.
