I'm not sure what you are asking?

If you are asking about content...

    Mp3s must be 48Khz

Mpegs must are supported up to 720x480, standard video only

Videos must have a 48k audio layer, even if it's only silence

Mpegs 1 and Mpeg2 are supported. Vob files are supported as well.

Images must be 8, 24, or 32-bit bitmaps.

What bit rate is supported?  Are both Constant (CBR) and Variable (VBR) supported?  Program Stream or Transport? Anything special I need to know regarding GOP... does it need to be closed?  How many frames per GOP?

So the HD600 can only handle Standard Def video, but then will upres it to a 720p signal correct?

And the HD2000 can take HD video (such as a mpeg 2 @ 1280x720)?

Yes, standard def video on the 600, but it also does hi-def images up to 1920x1080i. Yes, it upscales to 720p for video.

For the 2000, it supports hd video up to 1920x1080i at 25Mbps.
