IR remote events in CSV file

Hi,
is it possible to implement the IR remote events in a CSV file like touch or mouse events?
Or is it only possible to interact with the IR remote by implementing a custom script?

    It's easiest right now to do it using a custom script. But, yes, support for remote events could be added to the csv file.
